No sewing last week took some much needed time off. We went to the coast to the crusin the coast event. DH LOVED IT. I thought it was O.K. Kind of made me feel my age looking at cars I had either rode in or that we had owened. The weather was good. Got alittle hot at the end of the week.
Biloxi has done alot of rebuilding but its still not to pre-Katrina days. The beaches or open now and you can find a place to eat and sleep.
We took our RV but there is a good many Hotels open.

WORK IN PROGRESS

I'm currently working on this dress. The color is brown floral knit. I think I'm going to work with it alittle.It calls for a zipper but I'm thinking of omitting it. The fabric was .99 a yard so if it don't work it want be a big loss.
Went to Hancocks sale today. And I was bad.
I bought some knit that I've had my eye on for some time. Since they had a special today of one piece for 50% off Ibought it. Also picked up a piece of gray glen plaid.
Then since I was on a roll, I came home and ordered some red/black hounds tooth and a sage green print from Fashion Fabric.
I'll post a picture as soon as DH gets the RV home ( Camera is still in it).
We pulled it off of the lake about 100 miles from our house.
His mother lives there and 2 of out sons do also.
I only purchased 2 patterns today. The one Ireally wanted was sold out.But after looking at it alittle closer I don't think I like the sleeves.
I'll think on that one.

DH took his mother home tonight and will be working out of town until WED. so I'm going to try to take advantage of it and get some sewing sone.
Got a meeting in the morning, but I'll be back and then thefun begins.
